The only negative thing about Sarah Adams book is the book hangover it gives you when it’s done...and this one will be a doozy because I adored this book!! It was hilarious, swoony, tension-filled, romantic, sweet, and gave me all.the.feels!!Lucy was so down to earth and adorable and lovable. I loved seeing her through Cooper’s eyes. 😍 And Cooper. Ugh he was the perfect mix of swoony and sweet, and was the most absolute perfect match for Lucy.I haven’t met a Sarah Adams book I haven’t loved and this book is no exception. She is the queen of romcoms and has the complete knack down for writing sweet stories but also keeping that spark *very* much alive and well. 👩❤️💋👨 The romance is NEVER lacking. It’s how I wish every author out there would write! 💜If you’re a fan of romance, especially romcom, STOP what you’re reading and read this right now! 💜 So, I have to begin this review by stating that I wasn’t so sure that I would like this book as I felt that it got off to a really slow start. I’m glad that I stuck with it though because this was definitely a winner. I loved how both Lucy and Cooper realized that they didn’t have to be exactly how other people saw them.
